The Foundation Charter

Introduction

The Foundation Charter, or Themeson Agreement, lays out the agreement between the owner of the chantry land (Senator Horlin Sosaldas) and the chantry head (Shenava Servalen of Rethem) with regards to the use of that land.

Senator Horlin Sosaldas does hereby gift to Shenava Servalen of Rethem of the Enlightened Brethren of the Order of the Shekir the manor of Gorahnu commonly known as Worminghall and the lands and properties attached thereunto namely the villages of Boreth, Hyren and Genish and further those resources of the area within two leagues of the manorhouse excepting any and all mines that are there established or may be established so that the resources and dues of the aforementioned shall pertain to the holder for as long as he remains the head and voice of that Arcane Chantry for which purpose this gift is made with the assurance that the members of said Chantry shall under fair and reasonable circumstance lend their utmost assistance by both word and by deed for the purpose of aiding Senator Horlin, his family and his clan in as much as it does not contravene the regulations of the Enlightened Brethren of the Order of the Shekir nor act against the best intersts of the Chantry as an autonomous holding.

Signed on this day the twenty-eighth of Nolus in the year of Tuzyn 706 in the sight of the Gods at Themeson Keep in the Geshtei District of Gerium Province in the Republic of Tharda.
