Dark Council

The ruling body of the Church, consisting entirely of priestesses of She Who Is Black. See Setting : Religion.

Fargone Makers

The largely mysterious people who once lived in the Forgotten Land, and who left behind numerous structures, including Tanglestone Castle, when they departed for destinations unknown.

Forgotten Land

The name given to the western reaches of God's Glory, bordered to the east by the Thunderpeaks mountain range, to the west and south by the Wine-red Sea, and by the petty baronies of the Kingdom of the Devil's Slavers in the north. It was formerly inhabited by the Fargone Makers, but deserted by them ages ago. See Setting : Geography.

God's Glory

The kingdom in which the Chronicle is set. See Setting : Geography.

Tanglestone Castle

A castle in the Forgotten Land built by the Fargone Makers and now the seat of Baron Horselord of God's Glory. See Setting : Geography.
