- Kyra Arwine, Herald for the Order of
the Checkered Shield
- Physical description
- Kyra has blond hair (turning slowly to white) and gets a few more
wrinkles as the years go by. She was never more than plain in
apperance, but dresses immaculately (one must make use of the few
physical assets one has, after all). She has a deep, rich voice. She
rarely smiles, frowns, or has any other overt displays of emotion. She
greatly enjoys dressing in red, and one must admit it does go well
with her blonde hair.

- Kyra has been chief Herald at Menekod (and therefore chief Herald
of the entire Order) for some
years.
- Duties
- Kyra's duties are those of messenger and ambassador for the Order. As such she makes regular trips
away from Menekod.
- Friends and associates
- Kyra associates almost solely with the most senior members of the
Order; for this reason she is not
well known by the majority of those at the castle, though of course
she is recognised wherever she goes.
