Susyne has the normal duties of a Melana. She is also the mentor of Melana (Companion) Maryk Poladyn.

Friends and associates

Susyne, like all Melana, spends most of her time with those of her rank. She is engaged to Seneschal Petrys Skrikau, and naturally spends considerable time with him also. She is Maryk Poladyn's mentor Melana.

Personality

Susyne is a relatively senior member of the Melana, and acts as something of a matron for the more recent arrivals, above and beyond being mentor to Melana (Companion) Maryk Poladyn. In such matters she is serious and stern; a rather more friendly Susyne appears when she is with her fiancé.

Gossip

It is, many say, only a question of time, and not very much at that, before Susyne and Petrys become married. That such a marriage would not be allowed by the Order until Susyne was no longer a Melana only adds interest to what seems inevitable.
