History:

Formed in 1319 by Lodin Anesen (previously of the Skirmishers of the Unshakeable Ash)

Character:

This is the youngest Ûnir at Menekod and Mekednir Lodin Anesen has worked hard at forming them into a strongly loyal and independant unit. He frowns on them mixing with other Meken either during training or socialising. He has set up a competition between the Ûnir and the Skirmishers of the Unshakeable Ash; which Ûnir can collect the greatest number of helmets of Agrikan warriors.

Some older officers feel that he is placing too much emphasis on loyalty to the Ûnir at the expense of loyalty to the Order. However they have to admit that the Avengers of the Slaughtered Calf are becoming a formidable fighting unit.

The banner of the Avengers of the Slaughtered Calf is a calf's head dripping blood from its severed head, against a black background. The eyes of the dead animal are particularly large, and seem to stare directly at the viewer.
