Early in 1320 this trio was involved in a small incident in the village. A man, not a local, was caught cheating at cards by the trio. The three Meken took the man outside, shaved half the man's head and moustache, and ripped off the sleeve in which he'd hidden the extra cards. Though the man protested at this behaviour, no one either in the village or at Menekod blinked an eye; most thought the man was fortunate in his punishment.
