Beneath the Golden Moon

Recent History

1314:
The Mekednir of the Skirmishers of the Unshakeable Ash dies while heroically holding back a large force of Agrikans, saving the lives of many who were able to flee to safety due to his actions.

At the end of the year, the chaplain is discovered killing Agrikan prisoners taken in a battle a few days earlier. Before his trial he commits suicide.

1316:
The new chaplain, Matakea Leda of Severwen, is appointed.

An entire trio in the Skirmishers on the Silver Shore is wiped out by an Agrikan ambush, when out on patrol alone.

1317:
Rodyn Bruone is found fighting Agrikans alone; he is accepted into the Order as a Melana (Companion).

1318:
A group of Ilvirans die when the Berond river, which they were crossing, floods.

1319:
The former Reblena of the Melana is transfered to another chapter house; Mykkel Elcher is promoted in his stead.

During the summer there are several military successes against the Agrikans, most of them spurred by the Banners of Honour. However, at the very end of the year two of their number were captured; retaliation was not permitted - the winter weather made military activity on a large scale impractical in any case.
