In the wake of Martin's party, everyone went off to do their own investigating into what had happened. Stig and Nirumpam looked after Anna, putting her up at Stig's apartment. Robert and Jacoby researched the bird creature they and Lady Catherine had slain in the library, while others were more private about their affairs.
Anna, a day or two after the party, was brought by Stig to Waldren House. There the changelings discussed the situation, and Lady Catherine and Slim had a private conversation with Anna. This concluded abruptly when she became upset and fled back to Stig, telling him to drive her home. It seems she also stated that she would never come to Waldren House again. A day or so after that, and she too had disappeared, with her stuff.
Robert and Jacoby's researches into the library's bestiaries uncovered an entry on Beasties, which seemd to match what was encountered.
A week after the party Richard held his own party, to mark his birthday (late, actually), where Lady Catherine, Robert and Nirumpam met his old mentor, Samuel - a man who was not fae, but could spot changelings and recognised Lady Catherine as a Sidhe.
