Stig, visiting the Underbridge Troll's freehold, is attacked by an enraged Marick wearing WWII gear and wielding a large axe. Stig manages to calm the Troll down, but fails to extract much useful information from him: there is evil and corruption about, and Boston has fallen to it. No trace is found of Boston in the freehold.
Stig calls Lady Catherine and tells her of the situation, and after much deliberation it is decided that, Marick having slipped fully into Bedlam, that Slim take the Troll to a place outside the freehold that is safe for both Marick and others. Before this plan can be put into action, however, Stig, who had been against the idea, proposed a different plan.
Terry was present for some of the discussion, but seemed satisfied
with the adult stuff
explanation. Later that night, well after
bedtime, he paid a visit on Slim in his basement, the outcome of which
is uncertain.
Meanwhile, Richard and Robert did some following up on their interrogation of the gang member, and visited Pendel's Pawnbrockers. The proprietor turned out to be a Boggan, and Richard and Robert didn't get very far with him. Instead they asked Nirumpam to have a talk with him.
Nirumpam had his hands full with talking with the Court Boggans regarding the new freehold, and discussions with his parents over the possibility of selling the dairy, as well as waiting for Suzy to give him a call.
